MOTIVATION & GOALS

Get Ready for Japan is first and foremost a training programme that focuses on cross-cultural aspects of business. As a valuable part of the on-site experience, the EU-Japan Centre arranges Individual Company Meetings (ICMs) with potential Japanese partners. This provides participants with an excellent opportunity to put their newfound knowledge into practice while exploring exciting business prospects.

While ICMs with specific companies cannot be guaranteed, please provide a list of up to six target Japanese companies or types of organisations you would like us to approach. If you have not yet identified any target companies, describe the sectors and profiles of companies you hope to engage with.

The Centre aims to pre-arrange up to three ICMs per participant based on the list and additional detailed participant information supplied in due time. Please be aware that, given the nature of participants' businesses and the current Japanese business landscape, the Centre cannot guarantee a specific number of ICMs will be arranged. Additionally, delays in responses or incomplete information from participants may lead to the cancellation of scheduled ICMs.
