  • Eligibility

    The EU2JP Food platform is a service offered only to Organic Certified, EU-based SMEs.

  • Your company must be an EU SME:
    • Less than 250 employees
    • Turnover not exceding € 50 million OR Balance sheet total not exceeding € 43 million
    • Numbers must include your group or mother company, if any.
    • Your headquarters must be located in one of the EU member states.

    A background check will be conducted by the EU-Japan Centre for all applications.

  • EU2JP Food is part of EEN, a completely free network of EU companies. It can boost your visibility in the EU and in some countries like Japan. EEN organises missions and events targeting EU SMEs. There is no fee or commission on sales to participate in EEN.

  • MINIMUM 3 PICTURES

    Japanese importers want to see you are a professional, reliable, and hygienic company. A focus on sustainability, ecology, and authenticity is also desirable.

    Pictures must show your production site, some employees (ideally at work) and of course, a selection of your best products. Corporate images of your CEO or staff are also good. 

    Smartphone pictures, poorly framed images and otherwise unappealing visuals may disqualify your application.

    EU-Japan Centre Data Retention Policy

    The EU-Japan Centre will store this form's submission on its servers, with all its attachments, for the sole purpose of evaluating your application. The data will be discarded if your application is rejected.

    If your application is approved, the data will be kept and used to create your profile on the EUFood2Japan platform. This profile page will stay online indefinitely unless you ask us to take it down, or if the platform is discontinued.

    This form's submission will further be kept 5 years, in case of a future site migration or redeployment.

    Before reaching our servers, the data is stored on Jotform's servers. This data is automatically deleted after 90 days.

    The data will never be used commercially or beyond the scope of the EU2JP Food. It won't be added to third party's databases.
